OACF Engages Community Women Leaders To Expand Grassroots Reach In Arochukwu

The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF) has stepped up its grassroots mobilisation efforts in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State, engaging women leaders from four communities to strengthen community participation and promote its development agenda.

The engagement, held on October 12, 2026, at Isinkpu, Arochukwu Ward 2, provided an opportunity for the Foundation to interact with community representatives and reinforce its relationship with grassroots leaders.

The women leaders who participated in the meeting were Charity Ihu Akoma of Isinkpu, Eunice Sunday Uche of Obinkita, Mary Emmanuel of Ugbo and Nnennaya Okereke of Amaoba.

The meeting focused on strengthening communication between the Foundation and the communities, encouraging local participation in its programmes and exploring ways to improve grassroots coordination.

Through its engagement with community leaders, OACF seeks to build a stronger network that will help communicate its initiatives to residents, identify community needs and encourage more people to participate in development activities.

The involvement of women leaders is particularly important to grassroots mobilisation, given their connections with families and community groups and their potential to encourage participation in initiatives that promote social welfare and community progress.

The latest engagement reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to building relationships with community stakeholders and extending its reach to more communities across Abia State.

OACF operates under the motto, “Building Today, For A Better Tomorrow,” with a focus on community development, empowerment, humanitarian support and other initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people at the grassroots.
