The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF) has intensified efforts to strengthen its grassroots structure in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State through an engagement with ward coordinators in Agboji, Abiriba.

The meeting, held on October 27, 2026, was led by the Foundation’s Ohafia Local Government Manager, with support from the Ebem Oha Coordinator, Mr Ule Agwu Chukwuma. It brought together grassroots representatives to discuss the Foundation’s mission, responsibilities of ward coordinators and strategies for improving community participation.

Those in attendance included Mr Okomba Ezikpe of Agboji Ward and Mr Kalu Jonah of Ameke Ward.

The meeting commenced with the introduction of participants, followed by goodwill messages from the Foundation’s Founder and the Senior Programme Manager (SPM). The messages highlighted the vision and mission of OACF, its commitment to community development and the role it continues to play in promoting a better future for communities across Abia State.

Participants were also briefed on the responsibilities of ward coordinators, with emphasis on effective coordination, grassroots mobilisation, communication and commitment to the Foundation’s objectives.

The coordinators were encouraged to demonstrate leadership, take their responsibilities seriously and work collaboratively to ensure that OACF’s programmes and initiatives achieve meaningful results at the community level.

In his response, Mr Kalu Jonah expressed satisfaction with the engagement and pledged to reach out to other stakeholders to strengthen cooperation and improve the outcomes of the Foundation’s activities.

Mr Ule Agwu Chukwuma thanked the participants for their cooperation and commitment, expressing confidence that stronger coordination among ward representatives would contribute to the Foundation’s grassroots development efforts.

The engagement reflects OACF’s continued commitment to building an effective community-based structure through which its programmes can be communicated, coordinated and implemented more effectively.

Guided by its motto, “Building Today, For A Better Tomorrow,” the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation remains committed to strengthening grassroots leadership, encouraging community participation and advancing sustainable development across Abia State.
