The Programme Manager of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF), Helen Mannic, has received multiple honours for her contributions to humanitarian services, social development and community advancement.

Mannic was conferred with a Professional Fellowship in Humanitarian Services and Social Development by the Institute for Humanitarian Studies and Social Development (IHSD), Nigeria, during the institute's 16th Annual Humanitarian Public Lecture, Graduation and Induction Ceremony held in Abuja on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
The fellowship certificate, issued under the category of Fellowship by Membership Progression and Professionalism, recognised her completion of prescribed courses and steps in humanitarian leadership, alongside demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in the humanitarian field.

In addition to the professional fellowship, Mannic was also conferred with a Social Change Maker Commendation Award by IHSD, recognising her impact as an agent of social change and advocate for sustainable development, and highlighting her contribution to initiatives aimed at improving society and promoting sustainable development.

Rounding off the honours, she also received the Humanitarian Excellence in Service Merit Award, presented to her as the Best Supportive Humanitarian Facilitator, in recognition of her dedication to excellence in service through humanitarian education.

The courses she facilitates, which earned her the Best Supportive Humanitarian Facilitator honour, are “Community Needs Assessment for Data Collection” and “Community Mobilization.”
All three honours were dated August 22, 2026, with the programmes conducted in partnership with CIFAL and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

The ceremony, themed “Resilience in Action: Strengthening Ethical Leadership, Inclusivity and Humanitarian Values in Nigeria,” brought together professionals and stakeholders from the humanitarian, development, academic and public sectors.

The conferment of the three awards marks another milestone in Mannic's humanitarian career and underscores her commitment to social impact, leadership development and community advancement through her work with the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation.
