The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation has sustained its environmental sustainability campaign with the successful conduct of its monthly environmental sanitation exercise across five Local Government Areas of Abia State.

The exercise, held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, brought together scores of volunteers and community leaders in Bende, Ohafia, Arochukwu, Umunneochi, and Isuikwuato LGAs to clean public spaces and promote a healthier environment.
In Bende LGA, volunteers cleaned the Amakpo Iyi Ntaoba Road in Igbere Ward B under the supervision of the LGA Manager, Hon. Nwagbara Godswill Evans, and the Ward Coordinator, Hon. Udensi Agbai Ezekiel. About 15 volunteers participated in the exercise.

Coordinated by the LGA Manager, Comrade Best Nwoke, with support from community leader Emeka Agwu Ekpu, the exercise attracted 15 participants despite another clean-up activity taking place within the community. The Chairman of the Elu Development Union Home Branch, Chief Okoro Udensi, visited the site alongside members of his executive, while residents commended the OAC Foundation for its commitment to environmental cleanliness.
In Arochukwu LGA, no fewer than 50 participants turned out for the sanitation exercise at Amasu in Arochukwu Ward One. The exercise was coordinated by the LGA Manager, Enyinnaya Uyor, in collaboration with Ward Coordinator John Chima.
