One of them, Mrs. Lucio Orji, appreciated the foundation for spearheading the programme and pledged to remain part of the movement. She noted that the exercise had not only beautified the market but also encouraged traders to maintain cleanliness.
Several other traders and road users joined in showering encomiums on the foundation, describing the effort as timely and impactful. According to them, the clean-up has boosted the overall outlook of the market, while also sensitising the public on the need for personal and collective responsibility in maintaining their environment.
The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation has consistently driven community-oriented programmes aimed at improving public health, sanitation, and development across Umunneochi and beyond. Residents say the foundation’s dedication has set a positive example that should be emulated by other groups and individuals committed to grassroots transformation.
