UNAA Honours OACF, Presents Award Of Appreciation To Program Manager
The Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF) has received national recognition for its outstanding support and commitment to the success of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association (UNAA) 119th National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting and 29th Bi-Annual Convention held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
In a special presentation ceremony held at the Foundation's office in Umuahia, a delegation from the University of Nigeria Alumni Association formally presented an Award of Appreciation to OACF in recognition of its sacrifice, dedication, and invaluable contributions towards the success of the landmark event.
The award was received on behalf of the Foundation by its Program Manager, Mrs. Helen Mannic.
The award was issued by Lady Doris Okoroh, PhD, ALOHA, the 13th National/Global President of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association, and presented by Mr. Imo Abiaran, Secretary of the Local Organising Committee of the 119th NEC Meeting and 29th Convention.
Presenting the award, the delegation commended the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation for its unwavering support and commitment to initiatives that promote leadership, education, and community development.
The convention, which took place at Rocharls Hotels and Suites, Uyo, brought together distinguished alumni, professionals, and stakeholders from across the country. The keynote address was delivered by the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Osigwe, while the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Dr. Chinyere Ekomaru, was among the high-profile dignitaries in attendance.
A major highlight of the convention was the emergence of Dr. Mohammad Sunusi Kani as the 14th National President of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association.
Receiving the award on behalf of OACF, Mrs. Helen Mannic expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Association for the recognition and reaffirmed the Foundation's commitment to supporting programmes and initiatives that positively impact society.
The award further highlights the growing influence of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation as a platform dedicated to service, empowerment, leadership development, and community transformation.
