DR OLUEBUBE FELICITATES WITH ABIA WOMEN ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process, Dr Oluebube A. Chukwu, on behalf of his family has felicitated the wife of the Governor, Mrs Priscilla Otti, the wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adaeze Emetu, the Women Staff of Due Process Office, Umunneochi women and Abia Women at large, on the auspicious celebration of their 2024 International Women's Day, wishing them a blissful, bountiful and glorious celebration laced with good health and longevity.

Speaking in a release, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, specially applauded the Governor's wife, Mrs. Otti, for being a mother per excellence, a role model, an exemplary, and virtuous woman, whose milk of kindness, superlative welfare programs, and special packages for Abia Children, nursing mothers, and the less privileged in the state is topnotch and worthy of emulation, while he acknowledged his health and academic largesse for Abia less privileged homes, appreciating all the supporting roles the Abia First Lady have been playing, including praying for her husband and the state, domestic activities, and helping the Governor in various ways which have enabled the state Chief Servant to keep achieving great results for the state, and urged her to keep being a woman of impacts and a worthy Ambassador of Abia Women.

The Governor's Aide who reminisced on the challenges women pass through in their respective enclaves, also noted that women are bridge builders who play pivotal developmental roles in the family circle, the church, the community, the state, and the society at large, and needs constant supports from their husbands and children, as that remains the best way they can be motivated and encouraged to keep doing more for the overall interests of their homes.

He encouraged mothers to brace up to the challenge of working in synergy with their family heads in raising God-fearing and disciplined children, especially now that the country is going through difficult times, even as he enjoined fathers to as well give greater impetus to collaborating with mothers towards maintaining peaceful and lovely homes, as that is the best way to inculcate virtues on their children for a better tomorrow.

Dr Oluebube specially applauded the Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, whom he described as the number one supporter of Abia Women, for carrying them along in his administration's scheme of events which are yielding desired results, asserting that by appointing women in various positions of trust in government Ministries, Departments, agencies, which is in line with the 35 percent affirmative action plans for women, and stated optimism that due to their performances in their respective duty positions, there are indications that more women may still be appointed to serve towards contributing their quota to the development of Abia.
