Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation Leads Sanitation Exercise At Nneato Community
On Saturday, November 30th, 2024, Zone 3 of Nneato witnessed another impactful sanitation exercise organized by the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation. Held at the Eke Eziama Market, the initiative brought together community members, armed with cleaning tools like cutlasses, brooms, and rakes, but most importantly, their shared commitment to creating a cleaner and safer environment for all.
The exercise, which began promptly at 7 a.m., saw active participation from old and new members. Attendance was taken to track regular volunteers, while new participants were registered, further expanding the Foundation’s growing network of dedicated individuals.
The cleanup effort reflected the collective spirit of the community as participants cleared debris, cleaned the market area, and ensured proper waste disposal. Beyond the physical act of cleaning, the event embodied the values of unity, responsibility, and shared commitment to environmental sustainability.
Following the sanitation exercise, members gathered for a brief meeting led by the Community Coordinator, Mr. Raymond Ezechi. In his remarks, Mr. Ezechi commended the volunteers for their unwavering dedication to the cause. “What you are doing here is a good work,” he said, emphasizing that with collective effort, a thriving and healthier community can be achieved. He encouraged the group not to grow weary in their mission, reminding them that their consistent efforts are making a tangible difference.
Mr. Ezechi also expressed gratitude for the hard work and selflessness of all participants, acknowledging their role in advancing the vision of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation. He concluded by encouraging more people to join the movement, highlighting that transformative change begins with individual actions.
The sanitation exercise at Eke Eziama Market is a testament to the Foundation’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community development. Through initiatives like this, the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation continues to inspire hope, foster unity, and champion the collective well-being of the Umunneochi community.
