Successful Monthly Sanitation Exercise Held At Eke Isuochi (Amuda) On October 26th
On Saturday, October 26th, the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation conducted its Monthly Sanitation and Cleanup Exercise at Eke Isuochi (Amuda), Zone 2. The event saw a remarkable turnout of volunteers, demonstrating a strong sense of community responsibility and dedication to environmental cleanliness.
The exercise began promptly at 7 a.m., with participants equipped with tools such as hoes, machetes, brooms, and rakes. Residents of Amuda, including elders, youths, and local leaders, actively engaged in clearing waste, sweeping streets, and cleaning drainage systems. The event was not just about tidying up the area; it was a collective effort to promote health, safety, and hygiene, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to fostering environmental sustainability at the grassroots level.
